Just wanted to ask if anyone is having the same problems. Ebay will now not remove defects from your account apparantely unless you go throug the online system. However I find the system totally floored and regardless of my efforts to explain this, they are not listening. For instanct, yesterday i appealed a late delivery defect, which in fact was delivered well within the estimated delivery time. It was sent on time, by traqckable means and delivered on time and signed for by the customer. Lo and behold, the online system lets me down again, and declines it for "less than a positive experience for the buyer". What?????????? The buyer stated late delivery, and it wasn't by the online tracking. I am getting no where yet again, as this is the first time this has happened. Despite ebay aparantely protecting sellers for late deliveries due to Covid up to the 31st of May, this one wasn't even late. What is going on, anyone got any advice. No point even going on live chat and they are seem now robotic and say appeal the defect online, which apparantly the decision is final, when its wrong
thanks
What time did you call CS? Unfortunately later in the day the Phillipine call centre answer, and they tend to have a script to read from, and will not veer from it.
Call first thing , 8 a.m. in the morning, more chance of Dublin answering. Don't think they will, but may need referring to the eBay announcement that they will regard late deliveries when posted on time, and no previous lat deliveries on record, then they will remove them, any standard of selling lowered because of this , will be brought back up to Above Standard for the following month, so keep a check on that come the 20th / 21st for next evaluation.
It has been successful for most, and you can get different responses from different agents, so worth trying again.
Good Luck
According to ebay such things are being dealt with on a month in arrears basis. There should be no need to contact ebay.
I was impatient! Couldn't wait a month, called and got them removed in 2 days ! @john1297576
