Item picked up packaged and delivered

I'm wondering if there is a service that u can arrange the item be picked up from the seller even though it has no box or packaging around it. I only ask this as I may need collection in the event of winning so if this be the case I would need the thing packaged n delivered to me also in the UK the item consists of a microwave toaster kettle and breadbin which I estimate at around 2.7 kg

Collect in Person means just that.....you go & collect YOURSELF

You should not be bidding if you cannot collect

The seller will get less bids by advertising as collect in person only

If the seller was willing to accept a courier they wouldhave offered the service

You cannot expect a seller to wait around or make themselves available for a courier you send

FYI the microwave alone will probaby weigh nearer 4kg on it's own

The seller I have spoke with and before I placed a bid and they agreed with me that I could arrange a courier the sellers only problem is that they are disabled /bedbound and they do not have the boxes or packaging and have no means of been able to get any ..

Then they should not have agreed to your request and probably didn't understand the implications. All couriers will expect to collect a packaged item. I think you need to ask the seller if you can cancel your bid.

I am not aware of any courier who will collect any items without them being securely packaged first especially items like a microwave which has delicate electrical parts & glass
