Is it correct to show buyers phone number on address labels?

On the new Seller Hub system the buyers phone number is given as part of the address details. Do buyers know their phone number is visible to anyone in the delivery network?

Who is showing them?

Sometimes couriers request a phone or email contact for the buyer so they can contact when they are near.

AS far as I know that is optional

It is included automatically in the address details copied to Clipboard on the new Seller Hub Order Details.

I would think it against GDPR to give anyones the information without their consent

Yes, I'm sure it's against GDPR rules. I have raised it with Ebay Data Protection. It is far too easy for a seller, specially in a hurry, to include the phone number on the address label
