Insurance for posting items.

I like to print the prepaid labels when selling an item but only see an insurance value less than £50.  Last time I sent an item I paid extra at the Post Office for £ 500 Ist Class next day signed for. Why is this not an option via ebay

You presumably paid for special delivery which is - I think - only available at the Post Office.

I did pay for special delivery as the buyer paid over £200 and scanners show the item being sent. Why can eBay not find a carrier that will insure item of this value. Even with tracking nobody should risk  items going missing.Sent from my Galaxy
