Just tried to relist some fixed price listings and get this warning 'To help you sell your item, fixed price listings can only be listed with a Good 'Til Cancelled duration. The listing duration has been set to Good 'Til Cancelled.' Very poor of Ebay, no prior warning of this change and all they are doing is hoping you forget to cancel and then they get more listing fees thru the back door until you suddenly realise you are paying more fees. They are joining the banking, insurances, etc. industries where they are hoping busy people will forget to cancel and Ebay gain extra monies.
it was announced back in February,
you should read the ebay announcements

Good ‘Til Cancelled in 2019
We’re taking further steps to simplify the shopping experience across all eBay sites. The only listing duration for all fixed price listings will be Good ‘Til Cancelled from April 2019.
private sellers now get 1000 (yes that's correct one THOUSAND) free insertions every month,
you are very unlikely to go over this amount so you won't be charged any extra fees when the item auto relists.
