I solld an item via GSP , they restricted it .. and refunded myself and buyer in full ..
all very good, however i was not given any explanation as to why it was restricted..
2 months on ..
the item has appeared on Ebay ,
with my old listing being copied word for word including my full picture gallery
from the new seller, at £90 more than i sold it for ...
i presume seller somehow aquired from GSP
---
i have given nobody permission to use my photo gallery or description !
that was my effort and work to make the listing .. now it's just copied
advice please !
The GSP user agreement says that eBay may dispose of, or sell, restricted items. They need to recoup the refunded amount, so maybe the seller bought it from eBay, or maybe the account is an eBay account.
You give permission for people to use your photos when you list something, and unless you can find a policy that says copying descriptions is not allowed, there is nothing you can complain about.
