I had to pay £3.50 excess on a package that the seller did not put enough postage on. The seller has not come back to me after many messages. How can I go about getting this problem sorted by Ebay as I can't find a choice in the resolution centre
eBay don't get involved in postage disputes.
You need to get the seller to repay you.
Remember feedback.
Best way to have dealt with this is not to have paid & opened item not received case,
if other buyers had done this, seller would in trouble.
There is no way as @plpmr says to get eBay involved and there is no way to compel the seller to repay you. I would guess it was a mistake. This is one of the delights as a seller if you go to the Post Office. They weigh it and if they get it wrong they deal with it [in theory!]
Leave feedback but cautiously ... something like "excellent article but seller underpaid postage"
