How on earth do I manage to contact Ebay to attempt to get them to look into a return (as a seller).
The information on this site advises I can look at the return details and ask for Ebay to step in........no such link.
appreciate any info
Do you mean a return request or a money back guarantee case?
As a business seller you can't refuse a return request, although the buyer has to pay the return postage.
If it's a money back guarantee case you have to accept eBay's initial (and automatic) decision in the buyer's favour, and appeal. I'm not sure if it's even possible for the seller to escalate a case, but the result would probably be that eBay would close it in the buyer's favour.
If you want to let us know the circumstances someone here may be able to give you more specific advice on your chances of a successful appeal. For sellers, they're usually around zero unless there's an obvious flaw in the buyer's case, for example the item was described as red and the buyer complains because it's red. Otherwise they normally just take the buyer's word against the seller's.
