You should have read the listing more carefully, I'm afraid.
This seller is enrollled in eBay's Global Shipping Programme which make sending overseas easier for seller who are not happy to do it them selves. The seller sends the item to a shipping hub in the UK and a company called Pitney Bowes then send the item on to tis destination. The seller only receives theUK postage and does not decide how much the buyer will pay in total.
On the listing it states that the seller ships to the UK and many other countries. If you look at the Postage and Payment section on the listing (this is what I mean by saying that you must read the listing carefully) there is a drop down menu and you can select your own country to find out how much the postage will be. You are able to see exactly what it will cost you before you buy. If you think it is too expensive you can look elsewhere.
There is no reason for the seller to inrform you that they are in the GSP as the information about postage costs is already on the listing. If you bought through the GSP you have already paid for this service and if you refuse to accept the parcel you will not be able to claim your money back from eBay.
