Changing feedback from positive to negative

Hi I’ve left negative feedback but the radio button defaulted to positive and I didn’t remember to click on the negative button - can I change it please? Thanks for your help!

There is no radio button for negatives when leaving feedback for a buyer. You have to hope they don't report you for a policy violation.

you can't leave negative feedback for buyers,

there wasn't a negative button for you to chose

you cannot change th feedback

when you have a non payer you need to complete a non payment case to get your final value fees refunded and give them a non payment strike

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html

then add the non payers ID to your blocked list

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin

then set you bidder requirements to block bidders with two or more non payment strikes in the last 12 months

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences

That feedback indicates that you are happy to pay the selling fee. £15 to pay in fees for nothing.

If you had done the sensible thing and opened an Unpaid Case, NO FEEDBACK can be left, and you ge a refund of fees, not that you should leave Positive Feedback for a Non Payer, how does that help.

and that is because Sellers do not have the option to leave negative feedback for buyers.

All a seller can do .if they choose to,  is leave positive feedback so no you cannot change it to a negative.

If the Buyer reports the feedback to Ebay then yes they will remove it and you will receive a black mark on your account as you have breached Ebays feedback policy.

What you are supposed to if you get a non payer is......after a minimum of 48  hours from when the listing ends...........

Go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of the page and open an unpaid case.   Follow all instructions carefully.  Close the case on day 5 if they still do not pay.

This will give the non paying Buyer a strike on their account if they choose still not to pay within the 4 days.    Most sellers block bids from anyone who has two unpaid strikes in the previous 12 months.

adding to the good advice already given.

You could be heading for serious problems - you have relisted, so you could end up with two buyers and if the original buyer pays they can really damage you account over the false positive.

did you contact them to arrange collection and payment?

Oh dear! You have broken eBay's rules on feedback by leaving a "false positive" for a buyer, i.e. you have left a negative comment when leaving positive feedback. Sellers are not allowed to leave anything except positive feedback for buyers, or to make any negative comments about them - even non-payers or dishonest or abusive buyers!

Your buyer can have this comment removed if they complain to eBay, and you will receive a policy violation warning.

If you're lucky, and the unpaid item case is closed in your favour, eBay may automatically remove all feedback connected with it.
