Cancelled bids

A seller has repeatedly cancelled any bids I have made. I have found this out each time via an email from eBay, saying bid cancellation notice! This sellers items are all new. It is run as a business. I have looked at many of their items and bidding history. To try to make sense if it. Unfortunately, this led me to become more suspicious, I think that their site is being run in a way that is unfair to the buyers. We all have to abide by e bays rules and conditions. How can a seller be allowed to continue when it's obvious they are being very underhand ?? I called ebay to complain. They were not really interested. Apparently, sellers who fix/control bidding etc all in their own interests, are basically told they cannot do this. Get a slapped wrist and a fine. Which I believe is for a low amount. I said if private sellers worked this way it would not be allowed!! Has anyone had an experience like this? Can anything be done to stop it? Why are they allowed to carry on selling?

Sellers can cancel anyones bids they like or block them either.

Sellers who break rules get account defects & it doesn't take many to get them closed down for good.
