Hi guys,
I need some advice.
I have recently sold a PS5 on eBay and it went for over £900, however eBay is currently flooded with the same item for around £650, all from reputable sellers - so naturally alarm bells are ringing. I started the listing at about £300, I wasn't after someone paying a ridiculous price - people just happened to bid up to that crazy amount.
The funny thing is that the guy has over 400 feedback and it's all 100%, he also paid instantly - but I'm reluctant to believe someone would just throw an extra £250-£300 at an item that's available all over eBay. Similar auctions have ended at around £630ish.
I feel like this guy is going to abuse buyer protection in some way - can somebody please tell me how I can protect myself? I stand to lose a lot of money if this guy decides to say I sent an empty box, or the item is broken/send it back. There seems to be tons of protection for buyers, but not sellers. I feel like I'm in limbo and will inevitably lose out.
Thanks
Hi
On a different account as i cannot see that you have recently sold anything on the account through Ebay you are posting on?
