Advice on dealing with couriers arranged by a buyer

Hi

I'm currently selling a mac computer for collection only. I've just received an offer saying they'd like to buy but they'd also arrange a courier and all I'd have to do is hand the item over to a driver. They said they'd take full responsibility.

It's a good offer above asking price but I have to admit I'm slightly hesitant because I'm not arranging the courier myself and would have no access to whether the item was delivered etc. So I just wondered if anyone has any similar experiences with this? Would the courier give me proof they collected? Would I receive proof of delivery? I have no idea.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

If the only mac you're selling is the one for parts or not working, I don't think you have t worry too much about a fraudulent chargeback. For anything of value it's a very real risk.
