£1000 delivery charge

Hi, I just purchased an item and although initially I thought the post and package was free. I have been charged 1000 pound for postage. I am trying to contact seller to advise not to post but I am very concerned as the money has been taken from my account. Any suggestions on how to remedy this. I can't imagine anything can cost 1000 to deliver.  The item isn't even large.
