No Rose, I meant Operation Overlord. Operation Overlord was the code name used for the Battle of Normandy during the Second World War. Operation Overlord led to the successful occupation of German-held territory in Occupied Europe during the Second World War. By 25th August 1944 Allied Forces had liberated Paris and five days later German forces were in full retreat and had pulled back across the Seine, marking the end of Operation Overlord.
