following on from my visit from occ health which went very well.
i do not know if occ health have contacted management and HR yet but all day yesterday i had health and safety area manager shadow me all day clock watching and making little notes in her pad...she was bored witless and i got the impression that she thought she was wasting her time.
it was not nice having her watch me(i hate anyone watching over my shoulder) but i think it went well and i think she was shocked at how busy i was all day.
i even had my two smaller breaks were i take paper work outside and do so i can chill out and have a ciggie and even this she was happy with as i was still working.
so now me thinks it is crunch time and management and HR have to make a decision as to what to do with me....
watch this space.

Dear Cookie,
I can only echo what everyone else has said, but both Edf and myself adviused you to record the meeting. Not surreptiously, but out in the open. My son says can you do it on your phone (as Ed said). I think that is really very important.
Also, take your time if asked to answer a question, stallers like, (calmly) 'Oh I need a minute to think about that', or 'Let me consult my notes' and similar. Keep your voice low and level if you can, no shrill and NO tears, no matter what, if you can manage. And try not to use confrontational language like 'that's not true' but rather 'that is not how I recall it'. I used to sit on the other side of the desk. Try not to let them provoke you, deep breaths and think first. I hope you don't think I am talking to you like you'rer a halfwit because I know you are not
I wish you all the very best and will hear tomorrow night how you got on - could you maybe get a bottle of Rescue Remedy in time? Just a thought. Take care kiddo, get a good's night sleep, I'll be thinking about you. I'm off to the Land of Nod, N night, Rainy xxx.

I tend to be like you CB. I always feel like I'm letting myself down. I know what I want to say but it never comes out the way I want it to. Trying to stay calm is good advice.
