smelly suitcase?????

i went and bought myself a new suitcase today as i go away next week and i have just opened it and it absolutely stunk :_|of god knows what any one else had this problem and how did you cure it.thanks in advance.:-)

cookie...weather permitting...stick it outside with everything open :-x

Lightly spritz the lining either with febreze or with water with a few drops of essential oil. Leave open to dry out thoroughly.

You could also put at couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda on a saucer and put it inside

Take it back and get one that doesn't smell?

Put some Neutradol Carpet Deodorizer into a small,open plastic tub and place in suitcase...

zip shut and leave for a few days....don't forget it's in there and tip the suitcase up :^O

thanks everyone so far i have doused it with fabreeze several time and will put it outside tomorrow and see what happens.:-)

Spray it with perfume / aftershave  ?

Does it smell of glue ?     ..........many things which come from the far East stink of mothballs which you cannot get rid of ............

its not mothballs but hard to pinpoint .will try some more of the others tomorrow.and will let you know how it goes.:-)
