We've always got loads of weird labels as Hubby's company make them, or at least the adhesive for them. He often has rolls to test.
Once he had some wonderful huge labels with tropical fish on them and only used a few off the roll for testing. I stuck them on allsorts of things!

LOL Tara! I think I'd need to keep any that said that for me!
I used to drive his equipment over to Belgium for an exhibition of labels (!) every year, 'cos nobody else would drive on the continent. Whilst they were setting up, I would wander
round the place collecting adhesive labels, some bizarre, some really lovely. I used to get
loads of them, I'd enjoy wandering about seeing how many free things I could get! I didn't have
much of a clue about labels, adhesives or the machines that made them, I just used to try and look intelligent!

Fish, I too love freebies and look for the challenge of using them, usually in crafts.
You mentioned the adhesives. When I worked for the Market Research arm of the BBC I interviewed the wife and the chap who invented the stuff on scratch cards and he told me he had kept the rights of 1p for each one sold . This was many years ago, well before the Lottery..........I bet he`s not living in that small house now ! Their front "garden" was full of 5 gallon plastic tubs of adhesives being tested against frost and sunlight !! LOL
I met and interviewed all sorts of fascinating people.............including one chap who gave me a full 20 minute interview (by his permission) then negated it by refusing to disclose his actual age !
