The first two are Fistral (ginger one) & Gobbler (tabby one) sleeping on my coat!

Here's one of Gobbler's little face 'cos it's pretty and very owl-like sometimes!

Sorry to say I lost the babies yesterday. 😞 They just started loosing weight and going down hill really quickly. 😞 It is so hard with the really little ones sometimes. 😞

Thanks everyone. It is difficult and not all of them can be saved unfortunately. It is a bit disheartening sometimes. But will hopefully be successful next time.

You did say they were the smallest you'd ever had, perhaps they never got their mothers colostrum or the formula that you use was too rich for their little tums or I'm afraid it was never meant to be. It's a great shame when you've tried your best but as the others have said you have reared hundreds to health & I'm sure many more to come, it's a learning curve but a hard one. Well done & continue with your worthwhile & good works. Chin up!.

You see this silly dog here........................

She brings things in from the garden to take in her bed (Lottie's bed actually) to chew up.  These range from leaves, twigs, branches, she even pulled a bulb up once.

Yesterday morning I noticed a lump in Lottie's pillowslip and on further investigation this is what I found.

It was a big lump of cement or concrete and by the look of it I think Lottie must have had to sleep with it in there the previous night!

An hour or so ago Molly came in and went in Lottie'd bed with her latest find.  Luckily she dropped it on the tiled floor before she had a chew on it because this is what it was!  I'm sure my hair's greyer than it used to be!!
