Hi all,

JUST managed to get 3 listed - couldn't get onto ebay at all last night so this is the best I could do as I'll be out for most of tomorrow & turbo lister & me do not get on.  Will try & do some pics later 🙂

I've got some seeds of some rather nice, unusual garden perennials which can be sown now,  a jar of the new season raspberry jam & a collection of rather odd tatties!

sorry i am late, been away for a while and when i got back have been so busy.

i have just seen that ebay is now going to charge fees on postage.   is this right and is it legal ?

Definitely wrong but probably not illegal.....not paying UK tax is probably illegal.

Cor just managed to get 5 on on a 3 day listing. *wipes brow and brreeeaath*

Sorry Ive not been about oldies, my foot, some other things and a couple of other things have got in the way.

The foot is about to be solved though and thats good Im having another op on it on the 10th of sept Yayyyy at last

One of the oldies has moved into a bungalow so his life is now easier. No stairs for him to conquer and bless him a shower he is so happy with his bowl floor shower..

But the initial move was hard for him, moving at the tender age of 86 from a place where you have so many memories isnt easy, I think he has coped incredibly well. Hes been in his new home 1 week and 3 days now Im just waiting for him to say  "I want to go home" Mind you that might not happen as hes hit it off with a lovely lady next door to him Iris bless her she really is lovely and her daughter visits her every day and she chats to him also, so hes loving it.

There is a communal garden with benches where some of the residents go and sit in the sunshine and chat, Its so nice 🙂

In his old home the neighbours were all very strange and nobody really spoke to anyone else and he had began to feel very alone there. So all keep your fingers crossed he falls in love with it and wants to stay.

Right anyway has everyone been behaving in my absence?  Thats what I want to know

MDCC looks abit quiet again this month, and not as many listings (or am I imaging that?) - not surprising really, as we end on the 1st AND it was a bank holiday weekend for listing!

All of the Friends of Bwindi listings are still on their Bargain Start Bids and I have 1 lonely bid on a Big List of charity listings, including MDCC! I was abit late with the MDCC's though. I have been listing as many charity things as I can, to help with the school expenses for the new term, and I have lots more that I hope to get listed over the next few weeks (I know, I am always saying that but this time I have actually been DOING it!

Thought I did a reply here a while ago but it isn't there. 

Not the best week for MDCC this time, starting on Bank Holiday and very early in the month compared to usual (I wonder how many people forgot!)

Mine are doing Rubbish. Even the one specially listed for people who don't want any of my stuff!

That function doesn't work any more. I am sure it makes a differnce to the charity auctions as it's good to see at a click what people have on offer. Fixing it doesn't seem to ba an Ebay priority.

I'd love to know more about this Other Place. I tried to read all the messages for a clue but my eyes are going squiffy, I am not good at reading long threads on a screen. We really need some new ideas.

Maybe someone could get in touch via messages, or email if you've got my address? Don't really want to post it here!
