What lovely photos.  I love it down in Cornwall.  

Nearly all of the snow has gone from here as we've had heavy rain.  It's bitterly cold here.  If it freezes here tonight, it will be like a skating rink.  There's a lot to be said for hibernation.  At least we're well stocked up.  I managed to get to the shops near here for a loaf earlier on.

I hope that everyone stays safe and warm.

We've had coach holidays in Newquay.  If we've not had a trip out for the day, we've got on a Western Greyhound bus to various places such as Padstow and Truro.  The trip from Newquay to Truro is an adventure as you have to change at St Columb Major.  I think it's lovely in Cornwall.

We ended up with heavy sleety storms in the end here too although it started out sunny. Almost dark here now. Roll on spring! lol

Sorry folks we have had a beautiful day here all day. It's a bit chilly now though.

Lucky me I live just up the road from Cornwall so we go there a lot because we love it. I love the Lizard peninsula, Penzance and St Ives.

Alright ed.  Stop boasting.  It's cold here but the majority of the snow has gone now thankfully.  We've been forescast with freezing fog for tomorrow going into Monday.

We had a lot of rain and wind last night but it's been dry all day.  It's forecast sunny for us tomorrow which is good because my son has to fly his daughter home.

We rarely get the white stuff, being right on the water and near the Gulf Stream, but I swear the icy rain as I came in from the supermarket was sleet.

I think that we had sleet earlier on.  Not a lot of it but it was sleet.
