it's our first holiday away in 5yrs so I think I'm entitled to go a bit mad.

not been on holiday for 14 years now, and no chance again this year. We have too many animals to be able to leave them, but live in a lovely part of Scotland so don't really need to go away - although a bit of sun abroad would be good. Hope you enjoy your break

Might be possible to get away later in the year, perhaps Belgium, we like Brussels, Brugges, Ghent etc.

We've not had a holiday for about four years now.  I don't think we'll be going away again due to my mum's health.  We seem are alright just going out for the day but holidays are a no no unfortunately.

Would it be possible to find a town or city dweller to house and animal sit while you are away

It would be a holiday and change of scenery for them.

10 weeks to our first holiday in 5 years - just a 1 week cruise down the nile but guaranteed sunshine and temperatures in the high 30s.

5 weeks to my 18 day holiday. Not going anywhere this year as spent holiday fund on my new smile. Hubby is going to a music festival for 5 days so I have complete freedom to do what I want. Excluding the dogs obviously but we have loads of walks.

oooh 18 days off Ed, how lovely. We have 9 day breaks and then we get one of those every other month. It's getting that way now with the .com shops getting so heavy we ache like mad and need a break every other month to recover!!!

I space mine out so I have a week off roughly every 8 weeks from April until October

Don't do holidays, can't be arrises with packing & travel, we love our home and where we live so spend our money on that and eating out.

We don't go abroad, just stay with friends for weekends every now and then. Hubby works hard and long so most holidays are spent fixing painting or building something. Haha
