i think my twenties where the best.......... got my wonderful hubby and most of my kiddies.
a few good years when i was a wee un............ the freedom we had....playing out till you where
starving and back home for a quick re-fill and away out again to play.
we lived in the country then, so jumping ditches, picking flowers, stealing apples of the trees, hop-scotch, skipping and playing with (minds outta the gutterX-() two balls up the wall.

Now I think. Although I have a lot of aches & pains I am happier & more content now than I have ever been.:-)

Mine were my twenties too. Just married then the children.
I'm happy now, nice house, no money worries, plenty of time to do whatever I want, but I don't like getting old.:|

I think mine were when I was a child; my Grandparents and Uncles ran a maggot farm and I used to love it when I was allowed to sell a pint of maggots! (I was only about 4 at the time) My parents kept pigs and hens and I loved to go into the hen huts before school and collect the eggs (until one day when the fox had got in, I'll spare you the details) We lived along a dirt road, semi-rural, with squirrels in the trees. There was a field next to the house with a couple of horses in it. Lovely 🙂

Mine was once I had left home & was at Uni - Swansea, living right by the sea (my favourite location) doing languages, which I still love, meeting my then room-mate (still my best g/f, the sister I never had, who is still my closest g/f), meeting my OH & a huge amount of kindness in them & friends
Ohhh, fun times
OH & I went on to have 4 children & have been together since 1975, which is wonderful - but those carefree years at Uni were.. .. carefree 😄

My best years are actually now, despite all the aches and pains 🙂 Nearly lost my Hubby a couple of years back, and now he is back, and just like the young man I met all those years ago, it is rather like starting out all over again 🙂

What an interesting question.
Wow.. I had a blast in my 20's. When I look back now at the freedom my friends and I had.
No ties, plenty of cash. When we had a few days off we would take off and travel the country on a whim, not knowing where we were heading and not caring as long as we were back in time for work.
We would go to as many Music festivals in the summer as we could.
Think nothing of nipping into London to catch a gig somewhere or just hang around Carnaby St.
How things have changed.
I can't say they were THE best, but I can say they were the best so far. I'm hoping something will happen to top that in the future
