Winter Paralympics

Just watching the sledge hockey.

The way they tear around, it is hard to believe that they are disabled

 

Also watched the wheelchair curling.

They dont use sweepers, so need to be more accurate than in the able bodied version

 

As for the sitting skiers, how on earth do they keep upright.

I've been watching the downhill racers this morning, good grief!!! they are tearing down the mountainside, with a guide in the front....hecky thump,they're so brave....

I saw those as well.

I think they are mostly visually impaired, and that is why the guide wears bright coloured clothes

When following, the skier can probably just about see an orange blob

 

It is terrifying enough to me to ski downhill at those speeds when you can see, let alone when you cant.

 

Very brave to even try it.
