i love the rhododendrons .when we were fitter and in better health we use to take the children on a picnic round sheringham park on the north Norfolk coast and it is similar to where you went and it was so pretty. :-)we miss being able to walk round there.:-)

Gosh Cookie, I remember that park in Sheringham! I used to go there with my
family when I was about 14/15 and we would go there too, and on the hill with
all the beautiful poppies, though there weren't so many poppies then as there
are in recent years, I'm sure.
I went to Sheringham with a couple of friends when I was about 18 and have
been a couple of times with Hubby, though not for a few years now. I loved
visiting Langham Glass, the steam train and of course swimming in the sea -
I can never get enough of that!

it is a lovely part of norfolk :-)and feel blessed that we do not live very far from there and have spent many a day visiting round there, including the places you named.we even spent our honey moon night there:-D.it is a shame that our health is stopping us going to to walk round the park now.:-(

Gosh Captain, we went to Bodnant Gardens years ago when we were on holiday in Llandudno.
And Southport, when I went last year I walked around some gardens, they were lovely in Autumn. Not sure if it was the Botanical Gardens but they were very nice all the same.
I'm off to another garden today, not for work this time though, just taking Hubby!
