What is the scariest thing you have ever done????
On the 29th July 1989, I jumped out of a plane at 2000 feet, with the Red Devils, in Aldershot, in aid of Children in Need. It was a static line jump which meant that I was attached to the plane, and the parachute opened on its own, no need to pull the cord.
I have to admit that for days beforehand I was bricking it, but once my feet hit terra firma I could have gone and done it again.
Where I worked at the time was nearby and even though nobody could get out from work, they could all see me come out of the plane.
The stupidest thing I did was get married - but that is another story LOL

Either going into labour knowing that I would be leaving hospital with my son's funeral to arrange or agreeing that my husband not be put back onto life support, knowing I had to go home and tell the girls that Daddy wasn't coming home for Christmas after all. They were 2 1/2 and almost 4 at the time.

Sadly like cosmic it was agreeing to turn off my husbands life support knowing I would be leaving the hospital a widow and single parent to 2 young children with another on the way who would never meet her Daddy

I go on rollercoasters with my kids (which I used to love!) - I end up regretting as I am scared of heights and, well, it scares me 😞
The scariest experience I have ever had was when I had anaphylaxis 😞 and thought I was going to die.
But as my kids were with me I had to try not to panic, went into practical mode and hoped I wasn't going to die on my kitchen floor.
I still have flashbacks 😞

mine was walking along a path that had a sheer drop into the ocean on one side. I always wanted there to be enough path if I ever fell for me to be able to get up again..here there wasn't an inch to spare. I went to bits, OH had to hold my hands and back up all the way back to the car. I've never been so terrified in my life, and I cried.
It's just nothing compared to what you guys have done. I have so much admiration for you all, I feel very humbled.

My thoughts go out to anyone who has had to experience suicide; My late Father and I got home from work one day in 1974 to find my Mother had killed herself; he never got over it.
