What item of clothing do you ruin the most at school ...?  stretch lycra skirt after a chemistry lesson ..

the vast majority of us here left school a long long time ago - indeed some of us have grandchildren at school.

however i did expect the answer to be tights...

Ive three still left at school

the leaders are torn tights and shirts with ink blotches.

Aah yes the navy blue knickers room for your packed lunch& pencil box , I remember them well. lol.
I also left school long ago but I remember always pulling threads on my school jumpers because the desks were rough edged, my mother used to go mad .

I think it must have been tights!!!,,i hated the things and always ran up to my bedroom and pulled them off as soon as i got home!!!!!

No such thing as tights when I was at school.  Knee length grey socks as part of the school uniform, and that was high school!

wore tights in the 6th form and hated them too.

I think it was shoes I murdered the most, my feet are huge (9) and I've always worn shoes out quickly.

I hated the Ties too, i always tried so hard to get the Big loose tie that was fashionable in the late seventies!!!. And i got my mum to let me have a Pencil Skirt when they were back in fashion too!!

Bloomin things, even now when I see a feller having to wear one in the summer I feel sorry for em!
Another thing that used to get damaged a lot were your school blazer pockets when you caught them on handles etc.
