You'd be very welcome Bovine , especially by the littlies with your baking skills . Am great at dinners but never feel I do enough baking as always feel out of time . Do try and do at least a baking day once a fortnight but no matter how much I dO it only ever seems to last a couple of days between parcels for the oldies , Mr S and family food parcels LOL

aye Stan, that's true, if I try to do a huge bake you can bet your life OH is hanging about and most of it disappears in a day or two!
I once made 48 almond tarts and hoped to get some of them in the freezer...ha! some hope of that, within 3 days they'd all gone, they were only small mind but even so.. OH can hoover up baking while making a brew!!!!

Must acquire a certain 3 year old so I can do some baking with her. Grace loves making cakes with anyone who'll help her. I saw a Peppa Pig cake mix at a shop in town this morning. She'd love that as she's into Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam and Pooh Bear and Anxious the Elephant.

Oh books don't buy cake mixes I find them dry , just bake your own and look online for peppa edible cake toppers.
Plus you won't want Grace thinking cakes come from a packet not from flour and eggs

Thanks for the advice Stan. I'll do that when she's here next. She's a good little helper I must admit. She starts pre-school nursery next month so I'll go and pick her up one day and bring her here for her lunch and we'll make some cakes. It should be fun and messy but I'll love that.
