I can't sleep for thinking about you Stroppy. Is this op to take place at Guy's or 'yours'? It is one more fight J., one more of the many battles you have won and outlived all the predictiions of your demise. It will be at "mine" Rainy, with the expert in the mesh leading a "team" which will include my orthopeadic consultant, and my plastic surgery consultant, plus the usual crowd of registrars and junior doctors.

It will come under the orthopaedic team, so will be my usual ward and my usual room.

The support and encouragement from all you lovely folks means an awful lot

Rainy - would love to see you, but don't put yourself at risk!

No idea what date they will come up with. With at least 3 consultants to co-ordinate, and special equipment to organise, I'm not holding my breath. All the consultants will have their summer holidays booked. Hopefully it will be this year, especially as "him indoors" is giving me a lot of grief over it. The later it the better vis a vis the sick-pay situation, not that I actually think our management are capable of working out sick-pay entitlement!
