Seeing as some of you have really taken Tweet the Budgie to your hearts, I thought he should have his own special fan club thread where you can post your good wishes for his Xray on Wednesday or anything else you want to write. So far his fan club consists of Rose; Capn B; Sam; Chris.

He's ok now, he perked up when the TV went on, he liked the music on "Tumble" (BBC1) Also had the naughty word that rhymes with "That". Norty Birdie...... The house is so quiet when he is asleep, it's amazing what a difference it makes.

Ha,ha!! I caught Mr Tweet on the hop this morning; he was still on his swing when I took his cover off, so he was watching me clean his cage out from "his bed"; hope he approved, LOL He's busy playing in the cage bottom now with his toys. Pleased to say there were only a couple of feathers lost overnight. My hernia is ok at the moment.........

Good morning ! Hernias are always less painful in the mornings, I hope that doesn't mean your putting off going to the Drs,lol.

Hope your feeling as good as can be Carol???. And hope Tweet is feeling better. Its been dark and dreary here too and it does not help the mood of bird,beast or man!!!!!. Its got windy here like the blazes too!!!. Dark and very Rainy looking today.

Hi, Tweeters - Another day with only a few feathers in the cage this morning I'm sure Tweet is looking a bit slimmer, he has no honey bars in his cage at all now. He's a bit peevish though as he nipped my hand when I was cleaning him out; probably feeling that way out because the sun isnt out. He's finally looking in the new mirror that I bought him last week, always takes a few days when I put new toys in before he bothers with them.

Glad that you are not feeling too bad today Carol.  I've not been too bad today but I am good at being a plodder.  My mum says that if I moan over my aching joints then things are bad.  People have enough problems of their own so they don't want to be listening to me moan about my health problems.

Good morning to Mr Tweet's followers Things are ok here, the sun is out and Tweet will have the vacuum cleaner to listen to soon, which he loves. I'm wondering whether there was anything in the honey bars that could have caused him an allergy re. the chest feathers? He's still hanging onto the new growth, although sparse, it is still there............
