Say hello to Carmen - only out last couple of days
Been gardening in the rain, well I am from the West Coast, so used to it. This is my wee hoose. When we moved in there was nothing in the front garden. Nothing. No weeds. So the last owner spent 14 years looking at just ........................ soil.
Best therapy - for me anyway.
We get some bunnies - but there is also a Mr Fox around - I reckon he keeps them away. Sadly I won't be planting any greens this year, well maybe some rocket in a pot.

Thank you girls, MY legacy. It was a real tip, by my standards, had been looking for a house for about 18 months. We had been living in OHs house prior to this - and I never touched it. So, I didn't have my own garden, I was in 7th heaven to have a blank canvas.
Like I've said before, it is deliberately messy and I adore working in it. Thank God for my garden 😄 and me born a townie.

Talking of dandelions, we too seem to have loads of them this year, we thought maybe it was due to the wet summer last year.
Me and my neighbour spent all afternoon the other day getting the little devils out, some had seed heads already so it was a case of doing it really gently.
Then we poured boiling hot water on them, waited a while, then pulled them out, we found it easier pulling them out once the boiling water had done it's bit 🙂

Very dark and dull day here in Kent today.
But I did go out into the garden to take a few pics 😄
The Choicier in full bloom, the perfume is divine especially in the evening 😄
I'm really pleased, afraid of tempting fate here, but I seem to have cracked it with the Lavender, it's growing really well and is now starting to flower, smells divine too 😄

Any sign of the sweet peas capt? Mine are 12 to 18 inches tall now. Perhaps it's been too cold. 😞 Maybe next year.

I agree CB - some of the gardens at Chelsea are a bit OTT. I love some of the plants though.

I've just pointed out to my mum that this time last year, our lupins were in flower. They're not even in but yet this year. It just shows how bad the weather has been.
