Just wondered with the merry lol season coming up if there are many tee Totaller non drinkers out there like myself?. Im fully aware of drivers yes having to be careful which is VERY important but some people for one reason or another do not partake!!. I do not at all now as i went through a very bad patch which involved taking too much alcohol and getting up to no good in a bad way and i had to straighten myself out BIG STYLE. I had to go down the NO DRINK AT ALL route for my own health and now on medication aswell so i just enjoy other things!!. Those who do i say enjoy the season with a tipple or two, those who dont enjoy aswell other delights and treats!!.

I know lots of people on here won't believe this, but I'm tee total.

See, I told you you wouldn't believe it. And you didn't.
I like alcohol. I like dry white wine, brandy, rum and whisky. I'll drink other stuff if that's all there is except Baileys, gin and vodka. I don't know if I like anything else because I haven't tried it. I won't like it if it's thick like Baileys or advocaat. I've never been drunk in my life.
Hubby sometimes pushes the boat out, throws caution to the wind and has.......................half of shandy!!! He really knows how to live it up!!

I haven't had any alcoholic beverages for about 30 years. I never used to drink much but it got to the stage that I ended up having a seriously bad migraine if I only had one drink so I don't bother. I can still act daft without the drink and I don't have the hangover the morning after.

i dont drink
tried once, and said never again, and i didnt
OH likes a glass of red wine, if he has 2 he falls asleep
i dislike drunk men
and i hate drunk women, they are always 10 times worse than a man when drunk

I have been known to enjoy the occasional glass!

I'm not teetotal as I have perhaps a couple of glasses of wine a year, and
maybe some baileys once. This year I tried about a teaspoonful of Kir and
I liked it so may have some of that at Christmas.
As I'm so often driving, I don't have any alcohol when driving and I'm driving
most of the time!
As Books said up there, I don't need alcohol to have a good time or be daft.

Just opened the wine! Well it's the weekend!

I never have any wine before 9 pm. Sometimes not until 10 pm. Having said that, I had a glass at lunchtime because I went out to lunch, but that's very rare. Cheers Maggie.

** Joins Maggie in the lush corner **
I like a glass of wine in the evening while I chill out on the sofa or a nice cold beer in the garden after work in the summer.
Never been so drunk that I can't remember the night before as saw it too many times in the pub .

Not teetotal through choice, just starting work so early it's not wise to drink the night before, usually give son a lift to work on Sundays so that is Saturdays out. If I am not going anywhere I will have and enjoy a couple of glasses of wine but it isn't that often. We go to skittles but I drive as I am the only one with a car so thats out.
I enjoy haveing a drink but firmly believe that driving should be no alcohol that way there is no confusion as to how much you have had.
My one weekness at Christmas is a snowball whilst I am cooking Christmas lunch. My gran used to make us one when we were younger and it makes me feel as though she was with us.

I love my alcohol but drink very little. It's rarely we have a glass of wine at the weekend. Neither of us drink whilst out as one of us needs to drive home and it doesn't seem fair to the other one! That said I have no intention of going t-total as I do enjoy it on the rare occasions we can be bothered. There's more to life than alcohol.

I used to love Christmas when younger and my father filled our drinks cabinet up,, it was an almighty excuse just to get pie eyed every year. I cannot do it now mainly as it would give me a massive Migraine after the trouble i have had recently and i cant drink with my medication anyway. Anyway CHEERS to everyone and BOTTOMS UP to those who do partake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
