TUESDAY'S foodie thread

I know I am early................but as tea is already cooking it is easy for me today.

Beef stew in the slow cooker - with onions, carrots and parsnips in the gravy together with extra cabbage, beans, peas and brussels all prepared ready to cook later.

Teenage son is not at school today due to the strike and has gone into town with his friends so I find a meal in the slow cooker easier as I have no way of knowing when he is going to walk back through the door. this way it can be served up as and when he makes an appearance.

No doubt he will have a Maccie D's or a KFC - as teenagers are apt to do, when he is in town.
