THURSDAY'S tea thread

It is Thursday so for me and son that means jacket potato. His with baked beans and mine with garlic mushrooms and a salad.

Hubby working away tonight so has to leave early so early tea of Egg and Chips for him in an hour and I have a homemade frozen cottage pie for myself, son is feeding himself as working til 9.  All on my own yahoo!.  might have a cream cake for afters.

Lamb tagine with roasted veg and couscous

Chicken and mixed steamed veg with gravy.

Going to try something we had in France because the oven needs cleaning anyway! Leg of lamb on a bed of rosemary straight onto the oven shelf at a very low temp. When it starts to drip put in a roasting tray of sliced potato, onion and whole garlic cloves. When the juices start to come out of the lamb they go through the rosemary and onto the bits in the roasting tray and cook them in lambs yummyness. I won't eat the potatoes but is think OH will approve.......and hopefully clean the oven afterwards!

He wouldn't like to clean mine would he? It's horrible! I don't 'do' ovens.

Hey grumpy, what keeps the rosemary on the shelf then, aren't oven shelves made of wire? 

We had fish and chips for lunch.  I had so many that I saved half for my tea.

NB.  Chips heated in the microwave are minging!
