Morning all - it's OH's birthday so he's watching TV and feeling old!. Kids want to go into town to buy him a present - today!!!. All requests they do so in the week fell on deaf ears and now it is urgent!.
Floaty if you want to get out you can always borrow a wheelchair from "shopmobility". Our local council scheme isn't limited to use just in shopping centre so you could have been pushed round booty in style. Enjoy yourself.

Good morning all it is very dark here looks as though it is about to pour with rain.
We are up early this morning as we have a decorator coming to paint our kitchen ceiling and door frames. The walls are all tiled..

Today’s hopefully sunny here later. Yesterday was manic trying to prepare for today and get enough things done to free everything up. It’s day one of starting education from home here, so fingers are crossed behind my back that we still like each other by the end of the week. 🙂We also have to try and get another veg patch dug for winter veg before it rains again, which is predicted to be tomorrow and Wednesday.

G/p know that one so well. People pleasing combined with automatic return to default fixed thought later. Son’s Dad does the same, agrees with all that’s said regardless of what he really thinks/intends, unless it's dragged out of him. With him there’s absolutely no intention of doing or taking on board anything except what he really thought, which of course he said nothing about, leaving everyone annoyed, and him cross because others are annoyed! With son he feels he has been tricked when he realises what he's done, no matter how much you try to get him to recognise if he doesn’t disagree at the time, people will assume he agrees, which leaves everyone blaming me for 'changing his mind' when he belatedly tells them what he really thinks/wants. 😉
Good luck with steering him through and/or picking up bits t'other end.

Arti - son says he is doing the interview until I said his teacher would be there. The teacher is well-liked, well-respected, admired for her results, teaches at full tilt and assumes everybody is keeping up or will tell her they are not, son's poor mock results throughout the year were considered abberrations and he would do well in the real ones(DUH!), son reckons her results are good due to large dropout rate of those despairing of keeping up, large dropout rate could well be son's overactive imagination. Son will listen and nod and not say a word. Fun. Will email you tonight with list of books I have found(finally think I've found all of them), if they are of any use to you let me know and I will send them.

No idea but we are off to sunny Windsor racecourse(just under the big black cloud that the BBC put over S England). Got wellies and brollies!. Yesterday's report was that it was thick mud!.
