Morning all sis in law coming today.
Decorator already here he is doing the fences and gates for us.

Far too much paperwork required today and my motivations curled up in protest.G/p spot on with son! Am trying not to feel sorry for myself but it's not working, as it's all gone painfully to my sinuses, and is just making me a grumpy old bat.

(((Towery))) Hope it's not too bad. Estate here's being redone which is no bad thing. I can ignore the constant shouting, banging, and drilling, but there's a daily motor mouth who bangs on and on about women at the top of his voice, and what he thinks of them, who I've taken to fantasising about greasing the scafolding. Ooops!

Morning all. Grey, gloomy and just plain miserable round here.
Daughter back to normal bored self, turns out somebody gave a talk at school that if your parents kicked you out Social Services would find you a place in a shared house with other teenagers where you could live how you liked and do exactly what you wanted without interference. She thinks it a brill idea!. She is now threatening to join the forces - Yippee(would just suit her!).
Arti, do you really think hanging upside down from the light fitting is doing your sinuses any good?.

Arti the builders wont be as bad as before - its the same gang as did the refub on the small cottage, but this place has double glazing now lol
all the piling and footings have been done, the bloke was on his own yesterday, there were several deliveries though.

morning all another early morning out of bed for us as the painter is here to give the gates another coat and finish the fencing.
Arty it hasn't rained here at all. Rather dull today but bright and the forecast is good.
The gardeners came yesterday too and tidied up the back garden for the winter.
British Gas are coming this morning to do their yearly check on the boiler and radiators anytime between 8am and 1pm so we had to be up and ready in case they came here first.
Arty hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Granny - but we'd have a very peaceful 22 years!. Daughter is an overactive, fairly bright, well organised, easily bored teenager. Pay her money, wear her out(if that is possible) and give her something useful to do and she'd love it.
Her computers broke! She is bored. Went down Naval recruiters today and he tried to scare her out of the idea and then said he thought she was too timid for the Navy - she's got a screech louder than the average foghorn and could undoubtedly sink any ship unaided. I think she'd fit right in, preferably as the target in target practise. Considerable amounts of crockery breaking (rather than her head) have been going on tonight!.

Heads are better. Must admit pottery onto marble patio is really good(doesn't damage the patio either). Pity he didn't use the old damaged stuff I keep for those occasions.

Yep, sun is out, washer is on. Washing a towel daughter managed to put outside her bedroom - stinks!. Rest of washing will have to wait. Hoping bored daughter will go to college(is genuinely unwell but could strop and spend most of the evening outside the house). Best chase son up - he'll be late otherwise.
