Off to work wondering whether some of the schools and offices that I'm visiting will be closed due to the strike?

Morning all, rather grey, think it is supposed to be a little cooler - was very hot, sunny and humid yesterday afternoon/evening. Off shopping again - bras or die!!!!!!!

Floaty - do you get to go home and supervise the hunky builders if the schools are shut?.

Morning all
was without a pc last week well the main one
got two upstairs and a lappy
but just lazy
just got tams off to school
but she finishs at 12-30 today and tommorrow
due to dinner lady strike
she wasnt too happy
her cut offs werent clean
(non-uniform day)
thats what her mates were wearing and she had to go in jeans so we had a few tears
scott still in bed been very ill with tonsillitus a kidney infection and a tummy bug all together
and a typical male when hes ill
just searching round for him some new car insurance hes now agreed that it would be alot better if car was insuraced by me with him as named driver
a lot cheaper for him

Grey but calm here this morning.
The builders aren't coming :_| . Phoned last night to check - 'oh - er - I meant to phone you - I'm not well'. I knew that man wasn't to be trusted. My much loved and trusted builder has gone bankrupt. So far I've found a good electrician and plasterer but I need a good builder (and obviously haven't found one).

Dooley - I've got daughter on my policy with Dire** Line but she builds up a no claims bonus. Still costs a lot 😞

Picks out some huggles from Towery's nicely plumped up pile and throws them generously in all directions.

Morning is shattered. Stayed up late to ensure that OH could phone canada and have a chance of speaking to his cousin, when he got up neither he nor daughter could remember what was so urgent!.

Supposed to rain later - just in time for the towels to be washed, I have no doubt.

Couldn't even get our van policy peeps to quote for son!!.

Off to bank and shop - forgot the kitchen scales so we can weigh luggage!. She is all packed.

Morning all wet here and seems to have rained most of the night. It will do the garden good anyway as the gardeners dug out our rockery yesterday as it was overgrown and they replanted it.

Going shopping this morning.

Hope daughter has a good holiday GP. Where is she going?

Morning all - absolutely shattered, had both kids nattering at me last night and literally passed out on sofa, woke up and went to bed!. Must find out what was so urgent when they get up about noonish. Weather a bit grey.

Floaty, she doesn't go until next Tuesday and has a crisis "I've nothing to wear". Mmm - it's all in the suitcase!.

Wow GP she is going a long way. Hope she has a super time. I bet you will be glad of the peace and quiet but worry about her anyway!

Jabs going ok Momma still getting bruises, I have just rung the hospital as I have to ring in once a week to record my blood sugar results as we still haven't got a satisfactory dosage to control it the way they want it and they have to put it up in small steps.

Hope Arty and master A are ok.

Good afternoon all, and a big reciprocal hug from a rather exhausted Arti and co, and the remains of my internet cafe credit.

Lifes awfully odd here as had just started to wind down from school term when got phoned and asked to write a letter stating I had withdrawn Master A as unfit! As I'm the one who'd taken him in, only to have him sent home and I'm not prepared to lie for them as I don't trust any of the three different stories I've been given, I've received a message from a third party (!) that either I withdraw him and take responsibility for him not being in this week, or send him back, as apparently the member of staff who sent him home didn't have the authority to do that, (that's when they stop claiming it never happened!) and they don't seem to think a simple apology and a polite request might be an appropriate way forward! Have sent them a message back to put it in writing but am not holding my breath!

Poor Master A's all over the place but I feel I have to send him back in as it's clearly what's wanted if I'm not prepared to take responsibility for their actions, which I suspect would just put me into some untenable position and I'm fairly worried that I appear to have been set up to look like I withdrew him, though it's probably just their inability to organize a 'party' in a brewery'. It's only for a couple more days so hopefully he can just hold it together and we can start again next week.

Am past being able to be angry any more at this point and am just focused on getting all of us to the end of term in one piece without any more of their game playing, so that's today and the weekend building up the resolve to just get on with it as best as can be done.



Hope Scott's better, and Miss G/P's not driving everyone past the stage of no return, and Floaty's not reduced to creating a patio. Herbs good luck sorting that. Love to all, and roll on summer from wherever it's hiding!
