I have a moan now and again but can't bring myself to leave!
They have cottoned to the fact I try to sew.. the drama costume cupboard is full of my creations..
I'm helping with a class tapestry in the summer.. but my real love is the environment.. I take the gardening club.
new timetable kicks in tomorrow and I'm in reception in the afternoons so liberating red beads should n't be a problem..
in fact I just checked my work bag.. no beads.. but 3 multi link cubes, 4 broken pencils and a chewed up bit of jigsaw are lurking in the bottom..

I used to go and help out in reception when my two were at school, about 30 - 35 years ago. There were no such things as classroom assistants then, just some of the mothers who had the time. None of these checks either, I used to help dry and dress them after swimming as they had a small indoor swimming pool. Come to think of it, it was mainly undressing/dressing them for PE too!
