there is only one thing i want to make
when i was a wee girl, my gran made me a blanket of squares, i loved it, but my mum wouldnt let me use it, as it didnt "go" with my room:-(
i want another one

i tip my granny gave me was 'black wool's hard to knit'

For Merlin: Lesson one in knitting: First retrieve your knotting sticks from the garden where they've been propping up your plants all summer
Lesson two.... I'll leave to the others as I can't knit either :^O
Finished my quilt today though, and already had a cold enduced sleep under it on the sofa (I know it's a cot quilt but it's for a cot bed & I'm only little)

Wooden (bamboo) needles are nice to use & are light in the hands. 4mm is size 8 in old money.
