Glad the injection went OK Maggie 🙂

Have been gloss painting, doing Mum's housework, making a Christmas Stocking and hanging curtains today.
Need to get tidied away as I'm taking FIL (who is very forgetful) Christmas Shopping and then he is staying to eat with us.

I think the weather is getting bad everywhere on Thursday night onwards so I am going to make sure I have done all I can shopping wise before then.

Did anyone see the 6 o'clock news - lots of online retailers now won't take pre-christmas orders for Scotland due to the weather 😞

Snow for christmas day would suit us down to the ground - snowball fights and a late lunch 🙂

My family are coming to me on Dec 27th. If they can't get here I won't have a proper Christmas.:-(

Actually that would suit us as we're going to my parents that day and planning on walking - I'd rather walk than slip & slide!!

I have my daughter, her OH and the baby arriving at the weekend. He leaves to drive to France on 22nd and I take her and the baby to the airport to fly there on 23rd.
Hope the weather is OK then.

I then need to shop, although we are out Christmas Day (if the roads are OK)

Am not very steady on my feet @ the best of times but mix ice & a drinkie or 2 and it could be lethal!!

When we went to a party last weekend when the weather was bad I hung on tight to MrHippy and even then I almost went over a couple of times.

Mind you I was wearing heels which is a pretty rare thing!!

Well it just gets better!  Hubby's just thrown up!:^O:_|  He hasn't been near grandson for days but he has called at their door and daughter has been here this afternoon, but, I think it was more likely the crab we had for tea.  A few days ago he said he'd never had fresh crab so I got a couple today and we had them for tea with a salad.  They were very small so we had one each.  I'm ok, so far.  The best before date was 16th so you'd think they'd be ok.:-(  I just phoned daughter to tell her and son in law was in their son's bedroom because he was ill again!:_|  What fun!:|

I think it must be the crab because granddaughter, daughter and son in law are still ok.  Isn't there something about 4 hours after eating something? because it was exactly four hours after the crab. I'm sitting here feeling every little rumble of my stomach, thinking oh oh! is it starting?  I bet brandy will kill it!;-)

Blushes at snogs from Twishy, glad they got there eventually ....... a weeks a long time for such a short distance 😮

Gems, its still really icy away from the town centre in a lot of area's & roads are still bad, but as I'm on a main road & only a few minutes away from town its ok around me, just freezing cold on & evening.

I hardly ever 'talk' on there, basically because I don't understand it, but I don't have my picture on there anyway.  I hate having my picture taken and on the rare occasion that I can't get out of it, I cringe!:O  I'm no Cinderella, I'd be good as an ugly sister though!:^O
