I like the curtains twishy, and the tie backs look very professional, do you take orders,

Love all the makes. We do have some clever people on here don't we? I'm not doing much at the moment. I can't knit at the moment because my left thumb is playing up and I can't decide what to do on the craft line. I just feel as if I should be doing something craft wise.

Oh Twish, you must have patience, I loathe working with cord edging. Your curtains are lovely. You must have a big kitchen (so many windows), eerm could we have a pic of the kitchen too (loves houses).
I have made 5 pairs of curtains recently, but can't upload any photos because they are too big I have instructions from Stroppy, **bleep** proof, step by step, to make it right, but haven't tried it yet. For a Luddite like me it's a challenge, lol.
Love the bag Maggie, I made a bag too, out of oilcloth, turned out lovely and I keep it in the car for shopping. Good to see the thread back on track.

*frantically starts to tidy up*
30-05-2014 5:55 PM
Och Twish you don't have to tidy up for me, I'm your chum, so I don't see mess
This past year, organising himself, teaching him how to cook, showing him what went where - he had no idea where the pots and pans were - I went through all the cupboards and toook out all the bits that hadn't been used like forever. Bowls, and utensils, and gadgets and Lord knows what - filled 4 boxes - off to the charity shop. Was then able to take the excess stuff from the worktops and put it in a forever home on a shelf - result. And I haven't missed one single thing that went away, I recommend.

I need to do that too....aaarrrgh this font size is going bandy again, I can hardly see this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we have far too much stuff in this house, and I'd sorted out stuff when we moved 2yrs ago, but I'm such a magpie, I need convincing that I won't need stuff I give away.......

We are like that CB. It's very rarely we throw things out. In about three weeks, we are having a new garage. The old one is coming down to make room for the new one and the old one needs a serious sort out. I'm dreading doing it.

Yay CK is back from her continental travels, well, how is she? Never mind the holiday, how is she? Sorry for being a mad thing, I hope you had a lovely restful time. I can't post any pics either now - what happened?
Coldplay on Graham Norton - I luuuurve Coldplay - haven't seen them and he says no big tours planned. Oh nuts **disappointed**. I haven't had time yet to listen to their new album - been getting down to Tamla 'baby, baby, baby don't leave me', jiving round the kitchen.
Sorry, it's pill time - can you tell? I'll say N night now - sweet dreams to all x.

Love the makes again. I still can't decide what I fancy doing craft wise. I've been in the front garden weeding again this afternoon until I got interrupted by our local councillor asking if we could sign a petition to keep our local pharmacy open. Our GP's surgery is moving in a couple of months and there will be a new pharmacy there.

Your bride and groom are little masterpieces CK - totally gorgeous, the tiara, the flowers, the groom's tux - it's all there
How lovely little Imogen is walking - there will be no holding her back now! Did you get big welcome back kisses?
