The weather here has been rather mixed today.  At least it isn't raining here at the moment.

Afternoon all.  I hope that you managed to get your gardening done CB.  I managed to get some weeding done in the front garden.  The weather's been nice here today even though we should be getting rain here at the moment.

Still waiting for the promised rain at lunchtime,

Been busy here today fencing and painting.  Can't move now, though we would only be out there for 3 hours or so as it was supposed to rain at 12, but it never appeared so we have stopped now.

It's been raining all day here so I made some new curtains for the kitchen.....

Used some material I bought yonks ago,stashed and re-discovered when looking for something else...

Bought so long ago I can't remember what I bought it for in the first place...

but it looks good so why worry....

I sooooo wish I had room to stash stuff that could lie undiscovered or hidden from Mr S's eyes for months on end ..................... oh how I miss my attic at the pub.

Here anything I buy gets spotted straight away quickly followed by either "how much !!!!!!" or "for gawds sake do you really need this/it/more/that"

Stan, my mum and Mr S should get together as my mother is just the same.  I always get 'Did you really need that?'.

Oh I got the weeding done out along the back fence Stan, lovely weather, and then what happened?????? I can't remember the last time I saw rain that fierce....it absolutely threw it down. OH was walking the neighbours dog and came in totally soaked!!!

I know CB came from nowhere didn't it, hit us abut 4pm and literally re - rinsed the clothes before I ran the 30 seconds to the washing line

We've not had any rain today - yet.  CB, we are only around two hours by road away from you at the most and it's strange that we haven't had the rain yet.

Alright then me wellies are ready.  Thing is though, I couldn't get a wellie on right foot as I've no ankle there.  I suppose I could always start a new trend by wearing just one wellie couldn't I?

it looks OK here this afternoon only problem is I'm pooped! work today was a pig, I'm glad that shift is over I can tell you.

No rain here again today although it was forecasted.

Back to work tomorrow, promotion change so will be very busy again, and we are a man (woman) down. only 2 more weeks and I have 18 days off, can't wait lots of things to do.

That shower of yours was slow to get over here capt.  It suddenly arrived about 1 pm and boy, I haven't seen rain like that for a long time, if ever!

Heavy showers here today but the sun is winning at the moment. I had better take Damson out while it's shining.

it looks fine here now, but they say we are having more tomorrow, gawd, will I ever get this garden finished!!!
