That's a really interesting blog Maggie...and lovely little dresses,think I'll have a go at some ....did you use pillowcases or fabric?

I used fabric as pillowcases are rather narrow for any size other than the baby ones. They need more substance in the fabric too. There is a Facebook page. I will send you an invite.

Oh Maggie they look lovely arn't you clever,

I have been busy today, one of my work mates ask me to make a birthday card for his wife, which I did and he decided he wanted a bigger one, so I bought some A4 cards and I have made 3 today for him to choose from.  I normally only make smaller ones so these took a while to do.

The photos are rubbish, they seem to keep getting a line on them,  they are all made with embossed paper with lots of 3D embellishments.

Thanks,  I hope he likes them as they cost quite a bit to make, the cards are £1 and the embossed card is 75p not to mention all the bits,  I shall us the ones he doesn't want for my mum and sister in law. That sounded good but you know what I mean.

Morning all. Hope you all had a good night. The rain was very loud on the windows last night but the sun is out this morning.

I got two more cushions finished yesterday.

Those cushion covers are lovely Maggie.  There are some clever crafters on FHG.

CB that's lovely I am glad you like them..    Any sign of you getting back to work yet, making those poor managers do your job for you ha! ha! ha!.

Maggies those cushions are lovely, I wish I could sew like that.   My friend and I have been to Sains**** today, they have revamped their Home and wear section,  Wow there are some lovely things,  makes ours look rubbish,  a lot of fashionable stuff and traditional stuff, and lots in lovely colours.  Very impressed.

Haven't done any crafting today as I have been out all day shopping and eating. Lovely day, back to work tomorrow, I don't want to go but OH says if I don't go to work I won't be able to have my days out.... No money, pah spoilsport.

I've been knitting a jumper for my mum.  I've done the back and I'm part way up the front.  Mum's doing the sleeves.  She's already knit one sleeve and she's more than half way up the other one so we aren't doing too badly as we only got the wool last Thursday.

hahahah Ed, our boss said to OH that I could come in and have my break with the girls as they were missing me....OH said OK but he'd have to come and get me and then take me home again......boss never mentioned it again!!!!!!

I'm off the hozzy on Tuesday to get the plaster off, then I hope it will be 2wks on crutches and then they owe me 2wks time in lieu which they say I have to take, so I'll be back at  work end of March I think....then I'm in for a week and then off on holiday.....well I didn't plan it like this honestly!!

Morning everyone , its very sunny here this morning almost like  Spring 

I am planning on going out after lunch as i haven't had a mooch around the shops for ages , cant get on with my sewing the fabric isnt here yet .

Your cards are really lovely Ed  & those cushions are great Maggie i want one LOL

Thanks PCC I took them to work this morning for my workmate to choose and three people ended up fighting over them, and they bought all three,  yipee.

We decided to go outside and have our t break this morning as it was so lovely, we bought our coffees in S**way and started off across the car park and the heavens opened and we had a massive hailstorm,  ouch they hurt, It was over as quick as it started, we all looked like snowmen.  The sun came out again and we finished our break, it was nice to be out in the fresh air.
