Evening everyone
Have a stinking cold and a throat like barbed wire so sitting knitting.
Just discovered that sneezing whilst holding a cable needle in you mouth is not advisable
Should have a bit more time to pop in here as I've reduced my hours from full time to part time.
Hope everyone is keeping OK?
(Also loved and have kept my card Ruth - so clever)

Hi Chris,
I'm knitting yet more Aran cushion covers. This time for my son. As these will be numbers 19 and 20, I think I know the pattern by now!

Nice work there Mags. I'm like that with the jumper I'm knitting at the moment. I've knit it that many times, I know the pattern by heart.

Morning all
Had a terrible night of coughing and sneezing so really feeling rough. Haven't even got the energy to knit at the moment, so need to dose myself up because I need to take my Mum for an appointment tomorrow.

These colds going around are nasty ones. I hope I manage to avoid them. Not had a cold for years & don't want to start this year! Damp, cold & gloomy here. Getting ready for the next weather onslaught!

Been having a clearout here as it is pouring with rain. OH just gone to the tip with loads of rubbish, we have got 3 bags of stuff for charity shops and given the garage a really good tidy, not my domain apart from a small corner with the washing machine in it.
We got rid of hundreds of magazines, you think I exagerate!. old boots, wellies and jackets that have seen better days.
Feeling so much better after a sort out.
Just finished the washing and when it is dry I shall be ironing it all, deep joy.
Hope to do some crafting later, and I still have 2 days before I go back to work, lots of me time.

Still raining here. Bound to be more floods & the bad stuff rolls in again tomorrow.

Still rainy & windy here, think it will be stormy tomorrow and we have to go food shopping, with Ruby, as it is his day off tomorrow, he is out with the ramblers today, think he will be a tad cold on the coach, back to the unwinding/ironing of sari yarn

Afternoon all. This morning, we had clear skies and it was bitterly cold but thankfully, there was no frost. This afternoon, we've had rain and it's blowing a right gale at the moment. Had a look at the Met Office website a few minutes ago, and it wind and rain for the next couple of days for us. As I said on the weather thread, we are lucky where I live as we've not had as bad as other parts of the country.
Spoken to Steph earlier and she's coming for her tea a week on Wednesday. The arrangement is that I'll pick Steph up from work. We'll be having Grace as well because Steph takes Grace to work with her on a Wednesday. I'm really looking forward to seeing them. Hopefully, Graham will be able to come as well.

Good afternoon everyone.
Bitterly cold here, but at least dry.
Feeling a bit more human, not quite so sleepy today. I have also managed to find the mistake in the jumper that I am knitting for grandaughter, so I have undone most of the front and I am re-knitting it for the fourth time. Hopefully it will now come out at the size that I want it!
