Grace's granny has told her that there will be a surprise waiting for her if she sits still to have her hair done.  That should be fun.  I wouldn't be surprised at her wearing her wellies either.  Oh it should be fun.  I've put another coat of nail varnish on so there's not much more I can do wedding wise until late morning tomorrow.  Think I've said that we are on calm the bridegroom down duty.  It should be fun.  Must admit that he's a lovely young man.

You sound as though you're really looking forward to it books.  I hope everything goes smoothly and you have a wonderful time.  Smiley Happy

I went swimming again this afternoon, that's twice this week!!  I must be going senile!!  I did 40 lengths today which is (I think) just over 1/4 mile.  My hip aches though!  Smiley Sad

Thanks CG.  I'm sure we will.  Don't overdo it with the swimming though.  I only did a quick 20 this morning.  It was quite busy in the pool as little ones have an aqua class on a Friday morning.  There were quite a few of older ones there this morning as well.

I'm well stocked up on batteries so I should be taking a few photos.  I'll put some on here on Sunday.  Obviously, I won't be up to downloading them all when we get back.  It will be a long day tomorrow but it will be well worth it.

Morning all.  Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected.  Won't be posting much today for obvious reasons.  Hope that the weather brightens up a bit later.  At least there's not much wind out here at the moment.

Must go.  Hugs to all that need them.

Just getting ready for the wedding now.  I think that I've said before that Steph's given us our orders that we have to be at the church at 12.45 to perform groom calming duties.  Steph says Graham's nervous and he says she's nervous.  We shall see.

I'll be back tomorrow with some photos.  The weather here is a bit cloudy at the moment.  I hope that it picks up.

Phew, well we've finished!! happy 2 smiley.giftoday was moving in day to our newly decorated bedroom...we had to move everything back in. I've done me back in lifting stuff but once I learn to walk again it will have been worth it.crying smiley.gif

Only have the metal tie back thingies to fix to the wall and buy a little bifold door for the cubby hole and that's it!

It looks so beautiful, OH is so clever.

So that's what I've been doing today, while Chris has been guzzling champers and having a good time.

What have you lot been up to?

THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Just got back from the wedding and we've had a wonderful time.  Grace wore the said dress and she wore a lovely pair of shoes as well so the wellies weren't needed.  Grace wasn't happy about being dressed up though.  Had a chat with Grace's gran who had been watching Peppa Pig with her at 4.20 this morning so Grace was absolutely shattered well before we left.  Steph looked absolutely gorgeous and Graham looked a hunk as well.  I will download the photos I took and put them on tomorrow.  I am shattered as well as it's been a long day.  I don't drink anything alcoholic anyway and I was driving as well.  One of my cousins was one of the waitresses at the reception so we had a good chat with her.  I don't think that it went down well with Steph's Gran that we were on table 3 and she was on table 6.  We were nearer to the top table than she was but that wasn't our fault now was it?

The top one is Grace after the reception.  The middle one is Steph and Graham outside church and the bottom one is Steph on her own.

Just before the speeches at the reception, Grace was placed on the stage by her grandad and she managed to find the mike.  She decided to give us a rendition of Baa Baa Black Sheep.  She just sung Baa Baa a few times first then we got the whole lot.  As she had got a round of applause, we had an encore of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  Talk about being a show stopper.  She was really tired though hence the dummy.

Thanks Maggie.  I know that they had a struggle trying to get Grace to wear her dress and it did rip a bit but it was pinned but you can't really see it.  Thanfully, she didn't wear her wellies either.

Lovely photos!

They all look lovely,

Steph's dress is gorgeous, and Grace is beautiful!

If adults find it a long day it must be a marathon for a littlie!

Well done all, and hope there are photos of you and your Mum to come.

As has been said feels like it was a FHG wedding, having had the excitement of

the build up with you!

Thanks for sharing :0)

The only photos of us are what the official photographers took and obviously, we'll have to wait for those.  Grace was up at 4.20 yesterday morning watching Peppa Pig with her Gran so you can see why she was tired.
