How awful Ruth.

Just wanted to let you know that my lappy seems to have died so I may not be around much until I get sorted.

Afternoon all.  That's terrible Rhubarb.  With friends like that, you don't need enemies.

Had problems trying to get onto the internet this morning.  Due to having the same problem less than twelve months ago, I knew that I needed a new ADSL Broadband filter.  As it's a bank holiday tomorrow and I couldn't wait for Sky to take 10 days to send one out, I've had to go and buy one at a cost of £7.99.  I am going to try and get the money back from them.

(((( Rhubarb )))), so sorry, what awful news!  What I would call Frenemies!

Latest make, for my Mum, when she saw little Ollie Owl, she rang me yesterday to ask if I would make her an Owl Teapot cosy, with 2 faces!  So, here he is, with an awake face and an asleep face :^O

Update on what is happening

Won't be able to get car till Tuesday,  " C"been with police to look at it and it is ok but mucky

Up to now not pressing charges as long as they all go to clean it wearring pink tutus and have photo taken and sent to police for them to use, for crime doesn't pay, not sure if that last part is for real.

I would love to see them cleaning the car wearing pink tutus.  In all seriousness though, it would teach them a lesson.

Welshy, I love the owl.  It's lovely.

Hugs and kisses for all that need them.

(((( Stan )))) :-x

I know it's going to be a sad day tomorrow, but as one door closes another opens 😄

Stan I think you're one of the kindest people that I've had the pleasure in knowing, to still keep the darts and pool teams going and still be doing your old folks Christmas Dinner :-x You're one very special lady Stan 😄

But now it's time for you to put your feet up a bit, lots and lots of good things are yet to come for you Stan :-x

I'm loving all the new makes...........very pretty and very nice Welshie and Chris :-x

PCC well done to you hun for making it through your week on your own, you did brilliantly and I'm proud of you :-x

Sorry I've not been around a lot. I have family issues right now which are getting pretty serious in one way or another so I just need a bit of time and space.

I'm always thinking of you all though and I always look in to see how you all are :-x

Well it is all going on in the village today

The prisoners that escaped from Salford last week, where followed up the M6 and stopped at the traffic lights in the square at Galgate, the shop was locked down and they where finally arrested in the village, glad i hadn't gone to the shop 😮

Evening all.

Mandy thankyou for your kind words especially when you have other things going down in R/L, remember we are always here for you :-x

Amazing how many strangers who have lived in the village for years have popped in here today hoping for a freebie, odd really cos they've never been drinkers in the last 20 years.

About to crack a bottle of rose if anyone fancies a glass then off to enjoy the evening sunshine in the beer garden :-x

Funnily not sad at all but actually having a fab time reminiscing about old times with good friends and regulars, am sure it will only sink in on Tues when I hand over the keys.

But you'll still be able to have a natter with everybody, when you see them in the street or the shops, even in the pub!  I bet after a couple of weeks you'll wonder how you ever had time to run it.  It's not as if you're moving away and leaving everything and everybody behind.  Enjoy the little bit of extra time you'll have 'cos it will soon be filled up with a hundred new things.:-D

I would like a very small glass of rose if you please, if only to toast you and Mr S and all your family, wishing you a fabulous life ahead of you all.

I know it will be sad when you hand the keys over Stan but I'm certain that you will enjoy all of your free time.  Love to you and the rest of the family.
