Great news PCC, you are doing really well, and am glad to hear it :-x
I have really got hooked (literally) on mkaing different flowers just lately. Made a large (6" wide) one that someone suggested would be good as a cushion applique, and a very pretty Picot flower brooch for a friend who loves butterflies.

PCC, well done in managing a night on your own. I'm well impressed. I can understand where you're coming from because I'm not too keen on being in on my own at night when I've had my mum in hospital. :-x
CK, hope that your son's alright and the you manage the drive alright.:-x
We've had a lovely day out today. We went to a garden centre near Preston. For lunch, we had a trip on a barge on which we had a hot pot lunch and either tea or coffee. We then had time to look around the garden centre and we left for home at 4pm and arrived back home at around 5.30. To top it all, the weather was lovely even though there was a bit of a breeze around. I'm shattered but I think my mum's worse. Methinks that it will be an early night tonight.

Crawls in and dozes off in the corner..
been on the best school trip ever.. went to see the Lion King at the Lyceum.. was worth looking after a group of kids to get a free ticket.. fantastic show the costumes, scenery, everything was great.
I've never known my class to be so quiet! They made up for it on the train though!
and now I am tired.. very tired!

Just back from Liverpool, nice smooth train journeys (although not to sure about the Virgin high speed tilting train thingy), lovely hotel with sea view & an interesting day wandering round head office. We always hear them on the phone telling us how busy they are. Well thier idea of busy & mine are two completely different things. Really chilled stress free offices, no ring phones, 49 phone agents available to take calls (we have to take ours between registrations), 5 calls being answered & none waiting (all displayed on a monitor), bit of overkill with staff methinks when all the district Reg Offices are working short staffed due to cuts.
