Off to work on a very grey Saturday. May even pass Martyn in the car park as he's just finishing a nightshift 😄
Dental Hospital was fine yestertday. In and out in less than 10 minutes and only one appointment left on 10th May 🙂

Walked into town for a few bits afterwards, and whilst on the bus home there were hailstones the size of golf balls Was so pleased we were stuck in traffis so just a bit of rain when I had to get off 😉
Have a good day everyone 🙂

Morning, well I'm going to have to cheat now I feel like someone has danced on my head! Only stayed at the club until ten, came home and was played with wine and brandy by the boys. Olly had taken a new girlfriend to carlucchios (very nice girl who lives on our road and they went to other village infants together, born the same day!) and James has just had his pay rise after a year of his apprenticeship from £2.60 an hour to minimum wage.

OH has gone to see some new tenants into a house and I need to get up.

Not been back long.  The problem is that mum's got an abscess on the remainder of a root of a tooth she had taken out years and years ago.  The dentist wouldn't take the root out with mum being on warfarin.  She's been given antibiotics and I had to struggle to find a chemist that was actually open.  She will have to make an appointment with the dentist to get sorted.

Chris I hope the antibiotics kick in and help your Mum soon, toothache is just the worst thing on earth I think.

I know what you mean about the frosts too, I have to keep bringing my Lavender in in the evening, it should be hardy but where it's so young and tender, I don't want to take the chance, I wish the weather would just warm up and stay that way, winter seems to have been very long this year, keeping everything crossed that we get a nice summer 😄

PCC sending hugs to you, I know you're really scared, but I'm sure you're going to be fine, we're always here whenever you need us :-x

It's so bloomin cold here today, can't believe we're at the end of April 😞

Love and hugs to all :-x

Thanks Mandy. Mum's still in some pain but she is taking paracetamol which is helping with the pain.  We've decided on any early night tonight as mum's absolutely shattered and I'm not far behind.

I know what you mean about the lavender.  Our lavender plants are well established so they aren't too affected by the weather.  I agree Mandy - this winter seems to have dragged on for far too long.  I, too, just want some nice, warm weather.  I think that in this country, we have earned a good summer this year.

I don't know if we have any oil of cloves in Tara but I will check.  It seems to be teeth at the moment.  Hope that you get your crown sorted out on Monday.

I've just finished knitting a matinee coat and it just needs sewing up now.  The problem is that the sewing up department is asleep.  My mum volunteered to sew it up for me so that I could start on my next project but mum is sleeping at the moment.  I don't mind as I am hoping that the sleep will do her good.
