Have a hot chocolate with a slug of brandy! Good for tummies and will hopefully make you doze off for an hour or so to heal. My mittens arrived today! Scrummy, thank you! I'm off tomorrow and my other parcel was Christmas fabric so I might have a go at the box. Didn't get any of that lining stuff but I do still have lots of the burning stuff so assume I could use that?

No you can't use that as it's sticky both sides. Just put a third layer of fabric in instead of the vilene to stiffen it up a bit. I have done that & it's ok.:-)
I have no brandy.:-(
Steering clear of the landing Twishy.;-)

Isn't it going to have fabric on both sides? Am I getting this mixed up?

It is Huggles but that's too floppy so you need something between the two layers.:-) When you turn it the right sides out do some stitching to hold the three layers together.

I've just finished these two sparkly Christmas skirts for two sister granddaughters. They don't look very sparkly on the picture, it must be the camera. (Well, it wouldn't be the photographer would it!) :^O
I'll sort out the SS now.

Any of you crafty folk made a rag rug?
I have hessian, a prodder and a load of fabric...
questions.. ( I'm sure they'll be more!!!)
1,what size do I need to cut the strips of fabric...
2. do I start in the middle of the hessian or on one edge or in a corner or.........
3. should I actually be doing this as I have sewing, knitting and crochet all unfinished

Not too sure Chez, but I have a book in my car about prodding. Will take a look tomorrow.
