Bovine you need to rest that hoof up or it won't heal properly and as for stubborn males well.............there's just no telling them is there ;\:^O

CK are you still decorating the space for son and g/f is it the bedroom or their own little living room which you were trying to do for them.

Hows it going so-far all being together and rubbing along well I hope :-x

OH gets cold every winter, but I never seem to get them. Maybe one every 5yrs or so. But I get coughs:-(

My desk & chair are  done , i cant put a piccy up as me camera is flat due to somebody not plugging the charger in after being on holiday ...opps

Were muddling along OK Stan, OH had to bite his tongue a couple of times though :^O .... we really didn't expect her staying when she came for a couple of days but she got the job she applied for & they wanted her to start straight away 😮 .... luckily they have moved into youngests room & I'm getting on with the bedroom first ....... other room is piled to ceiling with stuff now but we'll get there 😄

feet up & knitting time now, we've not long had tea as she cooked for us tonight (first time) but didn't finnish work until 8  .... I've never had anyone cook for me before  ....

Does she like the new job?  Perhaps it won't be long before they can get a place of their own.

I think the cooking is limited ..... but very nice 🙂

there planning on staying for about a year CG although it was suposed to be not untill after baby arrived that she was moving here .......  but she got lonely :^O   No chance of getting there own place yet though as she had just signed the tenancy on her flat when she found she was pregnant so still has her share of that to pay until June, its  a lovely little flat but not really baby suitable 😞

Once were sorted round they will have 2 rooms upstairs so can hopefully live a little independently.

 She's wanting to keep her maternity care over in Liverpool for as long as she can (can't really see that working but we'll see) :|so at least she will have somewhere to stay when she goes back for that & to visit her Nan., the jobs only a 12wk contract but she seems to be enjoying it but its tiring  :^O

Well you'll be able to teach her a few more dishes.  It'll be good for them and you if they have a sitting room upstairs won't it.  Even when it's family staying, it's still nice to have your own space.

They'll have a ready made full time nanny won't they!:^O

No, I like my own space to do exactly as I want, no need to make small talk, make a quick cuppa without having to make it into a tea party.  I think when you've had your own home for years, you like things doing your way, and however helpful a guest is, they don't do things 'your' way.:-D
